Individual & Group Psychotherapy
Therapy is the opportunity to bring about the changes we want to see in our lives. I use a holistic, person-centered approach to provide individual and group therapy for adults, children and families.
With more than ten years in the mental health sector, I have supported clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, domestic violence and severe mental health challenges. Virtual sessions are available.
How Therapy Works:
My role is to create a safe environment and empower you to make the changes you are looking for. Every plan is shaped around your goals, your story and your pace.
Initial Consultation:
We talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope will change and whether we are a good fit.
Assessment & Goals:
Together we clarify the challenges you are facing and set realistic, meaningful goals for our work.
Evidence-Based Care:
Sessions draw on CBT, mindfulness and DBT skills, solution-focused brief therapy and trauma-focused CBT, as appropriate.
Review & Growth:
We regularly review progress and adjust the approach so that change is sustainable beyond our sessions.
My perspective is shaped by deep roots in African and Island cultures, which informs a culturally responsive approach to mental health and self-care.
Therapy is the opportunity to bring about the changes we want to see in our lives. My role is to create a safe environment and empower the client to facilitate those changes.
